I've got a Sportster 883 on order and my dealer is selling basically at list. But, he's pretty quirky about how he takes orders. Has a sign-up period only one time per year. I happened to hit it right. They have been quite nice to me, as I said, they did my state inspection on the Savage with no waiting. I think attitude, service and price appear to vary greatly among dealers. Friend of mine buying new Triumph T-Bird has found same thing. Had to shop a bunch of dealers till he found one that would price it right. So I'd shop around.....Be prepared to wait though. Is it worth it? We'll see I guess.
